”HOW COME YOU ARE SELLING A SPLIT WINDOWS FROM THE 70’s???”
Many people ask me this question on my posts thinking on the German VW Split Windows, that were discontinued in 1967. The VW Brazilian buses doesn’t follow the same timeline as the German models. The production of the Brazilian VW Bus started in 1957 at the VW plant in São Bernardo do Campo, an industrial district in surroundings of São Paulo. The first model released at the factory was the VW Bus 15 windows, followed by the Beetle in 1959. Its production lasted until 1975 when it was replaced by the VW Bus Bay Windows model, which was built up to 2013.
